Re: The Dark Knight WIP
Do you think it will be easier to put on when you have everything mounted? To be honest, the only reason I want a TDK suit is for practicality. Hot weather, no one to help me suit up, comfort for long periods of being suited up, etc.

Re: The Dark Knight WIP
Lord pupmind thats the same reason I wanted one because instead of being 130 Deg in one I could be maybe 120 deg. You know how it feels when its that hot. One of these days I'm going to come out and say something and I know you guys aren going to like me anymore.
I don't think I'm exagurating to much it depends on how hot it is outside your body tempature being 98.7 and how long your in your suit and if your in the sun or shade.

What does that even mean?
Unfortunately it's gonna be no easier than getting a Begins suit on I think. Someone will need to pull the zipper in the back for you and the arm straps have velcro that need to attach around your arms. As does the chest which has a velcro strap that runs from the pecs to your back. Hard to attach that stuff yourself.
As far as the heat - yes your body should be kept cooler. But the issue is most heat wants to escape from your head and while it is covered in rubber that's going to be impossible.
Biggest advantage with this suit as I see it is in the lower body where it will now be easier to crouch and bend. I think...

Re: The Dark Knight WIP
Heat will always be a factor with a batsuit, so the best way to battle that, is to be smart about when and where you wear the suit.
I used to a lot of birthday parties, but no one ever wanted to do them in the winter...in the shade....in the evening, so I stopped doing them unless they were in a reasonable comfort zone.
No event is worth someone having heatstroke.
Be careful.

Re: The Dark Knight WIP
Also a big factor is how much you move around. 80+ degrees is a lot more tolerable if you aren't moving around much. Best comfort zone temperature-wise I've found is 60-70 degrees. Sweat is minimum and you don't get cold.
Thats good to know, Kevin. Sounds like it may be a little more difficult than the Begins, I have to have someone push my arms all the way in the sleeves and zip me up. But for heat, sweat may actually evaporate off your body. Mine trickles all the way down into my boots and every step is squishy.

Re: The Dark Knight WIP
Brin I have come close to having heat stroke because of the costumes that I wear and I'm not even in full rubber. So here it goes I'm one of the people that work out on Hollywood Blvd and no I'm not Max the one that went off. The reason I want a good suit is to piss off the Batman that used to be out there, Max Even though I'm friends with him. Right now there is about six Batmen that come out there. Saturday I spent almost 12 hours out in my suit. I do Birthday parties some times but haven't done one in my Bat suit. I have been on Jimmy Kimmel Live several times in Captain America, Cat In the Hat, Stormtrooper, Flash once, and Batman. I sold the Flash for thirty five dollars.
Well with that being said. Let me have it.
Sorry for the derail.
Well I came clean with that.

Re: The Dark Knight WIP
Hey I don't look down on you for being out there trying to improve yourself, and just doing something.
Good for you.
Now the other guy who seems to have the anger management problems...he needs a hug. LOL!
Mike Logan is a friend and a member over at the LOH, and I believe he may be one of the other Bats out there.
I'd love to see you out there in a suit like Kev's cause it would probably be the coolest of the rubber suits.

Mike Logan is and I'm friends with him and love his suit. He's able to put the gel packs in his cowl that much room. It still looks good. He wears the 89.

I don't know why I have 2 empty posts, but I was saying that Mike Logan had a really nice 89 suit.
