Velcro would be fine too. The advantage with velcro is the neck parts at the back can touch... with the zipper there needs to be room to run the zipper up and down so there's a gap.

The down side with velcro is lining it all up correct when putting it on.

I'm guessing Keith could give an option on this when an order is placed.I would need a velcro one as I am not using neck armour so the zip would be to visable.

Re: tdk mesh balaclava ?

The one she has worked up now has a hidden style zipper.

Personally- I dont have much of an opinion. The piece i saw in person that Brad made had a huge zipper in it- but- as big as it was, it seemed like a good option.

The one we made for me last halloween used velcro and was not a full head dress. More like the HK scene. To be honest, It wasnt as good as brads design. Then again, i never had a studio piece to work from.

But what ever people want. The upside is that the material i have on hand to make these out of- i no longer need. So once we have a pattern we are happy with, we can run them for people at a reasonable price. She hasnt decided what that will be. These will not be made to order by your sizing- rather- a one size fits most based on my 22.5" melon. The reason i can do this is that the material is very stretchy compared to the nylon mesh.
So that should make these reasonable.
