Hey Prox,
sorry mate, I did know it was Clooney's cowl but thought he'd worn it to do some of his earlier stunts, hence why I called it a stunt cowl. I don't know enough about the screen used cowls to associate the correct names yet, but it's been fun learning. Glad you are a bro who shares the knowledge you learn. It's great after so many years to still find new things out about the older movies.
Can't wait to see the final resting place for it. You going to have it displayed with Robin's mask too or are you going to have 2 separate display areas for the 2?
I'll be adding a pic of my TDK cowl in late June when I get it. Looking forward to getting that one to complete my Bale suit collection (ie having 1 from each movie). Unfortunately after seeing some of the pics of Bob's latest Begins suit, I kinda want to start thinking about getting another begins to add to the collection. Will this obsession never end.

No problem matey! The cowl is often called "Clooney STUNT Panther Cowl" because the Stuntmen wore them more then Clooney did, Clooney only wore them for a couple of scenes before it was replaced, Its named like that to tell it apart from the regular Clooney Cowl. The word Panther is in there aswell since it looks near identical to the Kilmer Panther. So in a way you are right that its a stunt cowl but mine is a "Hero" Clooney Stunt Panther Cowl. If you want more info reg the cowl let me know and i'll email some info that i wrote and printed out for my display that people can read when they look at it, I will most likley write some info reg the Kilmer Panther cowl too so it makes more sense to people who arent in to the suits so much.
The final resting place is in that case, It will just get a remake inside to "present" the cowl much better. The Robin mask will be displayed in it's case near the cowl, Im starting to repaint my room next week and will make a corner for the Original/Screen Used pieces i have. Im getting a pedestal for the Cowl case wich will bring it up in height and look more much like a museum display, Gonna see if i can find some Led lights aswell to install in the case or above to get a cool lightning effect but nothing that will harm the Foam over time.
Looking forward to see your finished Suit Collection. Im currently thinking about maybe putting together a Panther suit now that there is so many options out there and my budget is higher then it was 3 years ago.
