Would love to get my hands on a RD cast panther cowl someday....might be lookin in your direction Infrno Inkmonkey, makes totaly sense. Have tried something similar with clamps and it has taken out most of the bend. What's left now is just the tip. Will keep working it, against the wall this time and hopefully it will come good. Will post a pic some pics of it as I go. For the bent ear just find a way to hold it straight for like 24 hours or so. Like a splint. Or in the past all I've done is put the cowl on the floor and push the ear against a wall in the opposite direction of the way it's bending. Leave it like that for a day and it should hold after that. Hope that makes sense.nondisclosed_email@example.com (inkmonkey)Thu, 29 Oct 2009 00:25:03 +0000 Re: Dusting off the Panther for Halloween (pic heavy)https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6168,from=rss#post6168https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6168,from=rss#post6168Nice job bud, the Clooney cowl looks good on u.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Infrno)Wed, 28 Oct 2009 21:31:07 +0000 Re: Dusting off the Panther for Halloweenhttps://bthecave.runboard.com/p6165,from=rss#post6165https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6165,from=rss#post6165LMAO, yeah absolutley ! Figured there might be somehting missing...LOL. Anyway, did some touch ups and final part of my gluing tonight, it's 1am in Ireland and I'm just finished, been at it since noon, totaly shattered tired now but I think it was worth the time. Ended up using more than just panther parts so now it's kind of a hybrid I guess, some panther, some clooney (in black). Here is me suiting up: Me with cowl on Me posing Another pose Left side view Right side view Back view Just me, cowl off, man it's in there ! nondisclosed_email@example.com (Irish Bat)Wed, 28 Oct 2009 20:25:50 +0000 Re: Dusting off the Panther for Halloweenhttps://bthecave.runboard.com/p6159,from=rss#post6159https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6159,from=rss#post6159Wear pants, or people are going to think you're Robin. :biglol: nondisclosed_email@example.com (NeonMessiah)Wed, 28 Oct 2009 08:48:31 +0000 Re: Dusting off the Panther for Halloweenhttps://bthecave.runboard.com/p6117,from=rss#post6117https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6117,from=rss#post6117Very nice!nondisclosed_email@example.com (Eopie Herder)Sun, 25 Oct 2009 15:55:29 +0000 Dusting off the Panther for Halloween (pic heavy)https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6116,from=rss#post6116https://bthecave.runboard.com/p6116,from=rss#post6116Just taking the panther out of storage this weekend and getting it ready for Halloween. Thought I'd post a pic to let everyone see how it's coming together. Need to finish a few details but it looks ok. Will post some more pics as it goes together. BTW: If anyone has any ideas on how to fix the bent left ear, please let me know. Cowl is urethane. Enjoy ! nondisclosed_email@example.com (Irish Bat)Sun, 25 Oct 2009 15:09:07 +0000
