and is your cowl foam?

lol... blow me jay, for a know it all, you need to learn a bit about the different types of cameras out there, o and there's that whole lighting thing too you should read up on.

Also, it was requested in an off-black and actually looks more grey in person as black and white tint was used. BTW, didn't you say BJB uses red as a tint for black, and smooth on uses green? Now you're seeing red in smooth on huh...

In this case my friend, your observations aren't So Strong

Is that why my tinted urethane looks green while i pour it. ( i use smooth-on too). under bright light i can see the green hue, when the urethane is really thin. only when its liquid though still. never fully cured. thats pretty cool. most times black tints are never true blacks, and thats alright. lighting makes all the difference, Dont listen to him Jeff, its alot of hot air. comments like that make you never want to show off anything, i think that we can all agree on. can never say anything god d*** productive.

Bah, jays alright, he's just an asshole, I'm a part time asshole, so he doesn't bother me and I somewhat relate, I crap on his junky castings right back...lol.

In his twisted little way, he actually tries to help make things of better quality, he just needs to show a little more humility and be a little more savy with his observations.

In this case he is completely off, he likely had an irritating, underwear skid chafing his bung-hole.

lol, I didn't wanna start something by posting a pic! On any note, when I took that torso out of the box, I was blown away with it. The color, detail, everything looks amazing on it.

I should've stated in my post earlier that the flash that was used from my camera really doesn't do the torso/foam cowl comparison any true justice (also the wall I was standing in front of affected the exposure a bit as well). In regular lighting (basically anything besides having a spotlight or flash pointed at me) the combination looks great; and you barely notice a difference at all. To guys like us, sure you can pick out the differences, but again it's nothing major.

I just can't wait till Halloween when I can wear this thing! :evilbat:

Not sticking up for anyone here- but i thought it looked red myself when i first looked at it.

Figured it was a poor picture.

Unfortunately, it can be VERY difficult to take nice pics of these pieces-- or anything black, for that matter.

For the record, Jay and I are cool, so don't read too far into the banter. :stick:
