The Kreator Begins!
Finally, after countless months and months waiting for the armor I traded for back in August, I finally decided I just need to get another set so I don't miss my next charity appearance. So, thanks to Hunterbat, I've got some armor to add to my other bits and pieces to put together a full Begins suit!
Well, ok, I'm missing cape clips here, but that will be remedied within the week. 
I will be appearing along with the local 501st, a couple Predators, and likely a few other costumed characters at our local comic shop on May 2nd for "Free Comic Book Day" with a charity fundraiser supporting the Doernbecker Children's Hospital.
So here's the break-down of the suit:
J-Cowl (urethane)
Kreator Kape Prototype (moleskin)
Mephisto Armor (latex)
KBillan v1 Belt Prototype (resin)
Hells Kitchen Gauntlets (urethane)
Inkmonkey Gloves (neoprene)
Inkmonkey Undersuit (lycra)
Gotham 100 Boots (pleather)
KBillan CNC Cape Clips (to be added)
Friendly Batman Reminder -- While in costume, STAY HYDRATED!

Ha, you're right -- but that was just water in my Diet Dew cup from earlier.
Just being in the suit for maybe an hour or so, and I was starting to drip towards the end of my pics. Of course, yesterday we had record high temp for the day. I'm just really hoping we'll be in the mid 60's on FCBD.
One thing I discovered during my Halloween appearance (when I was suited up for 16 hours.....) was to use a kitchen towel rolled up in front of my neck under the cowl. Keeps those embarrassing sweat lines off the chest.

Thanks for the comments! This is going to be so much fun as long as it's not raining that day. The comic shop is too tiny and packed with stuff they'll also have 3-4 tables set up for local comic artists to sign autographs, so those of us in costume will have to be outside the whole time.
I took some other shots with Jawafive's metal batarangs, but most turned out blurry since I was trying to hold the camera and take shots while wearing the gloves. But one turned out pretty good taken like the others --

Thanks! I'll have plenty more pics this coming weekend after the Free Comic Book Day event. Really excited about that!
The owner of the comic shop set up a special room next door just for the costumers to take a break and will be providing plenty of drinks and snacks throughout the day. Also, he's giving hefty discounts on all sorts of cool stuff in exchange for us doing the appearance. I may have to pick up those Hot Toys Batman and Joker figures that I've been eyeing for a while.
