Re: My Begins all glued up, STOKE
A+
for my belts, I generally just put velcro pads on the back of the suit, and the matching piece on the belt.. holds it just fine.

Re: My Begins all glued up, STOKE
Looks great! I use velcro on the back of the suit, as well as magnets on the belt. Looks good for display and I can jump off stuff without the belt popping off.

Re: My Begins all glued up, STOKE
take your example of what to do by what was done for the stunt suits and their belts in all the films
stitch in a small velcro square in the front where you want the buckle to always sit, then stitch in
velcro squares on the hips of the torso armor where the straps should always make contact, and one more in the very back on the the left and right side of the zipper if you feel you need it for the weight
this will securely lock the belt to the torso that it will not slide around and will almost always look perfect, it will also keep it free of legs which need to move freely
--- And what’s ten years? Well, it’s roughly how long it takes to put in ten thousand hours of hard practice. Ten thousand hours is the magic number of greatness.

Re: My Begins all glued up, STOKE
Remember, you can also use earth magnets up front! One disc magnet behind your armor, one glued to the belt and covered in soft cloth. This will keep your belt in place without changing the look of the front of your armor!
--- Warning- contents under pressure. Do not open without eye protection. Keep away from open flame. Refer to user manual for compatability with other products. Do not remove this tag under penalty of law!
