Re: HUSH Nightwing 2.0
Thanks Guys.
He really does, and he was told that but when your working on things in the hour that they were it really
is amazing that only the tiniest things were missed
but darker hair is a must in the next one, needs to be at least as dark as Chris's hair was
since you'll never see batman unmasked in these films it goes without saying that his hair is dark~ LOL
the next film with have much better planning, much better production since I'll be helping more LOL so that little things like hair color can't get missed this time
what I love best about this shot is that the fingers actually show their color well even though they barely show in the shot you can see their coloring
tomorrow we will finish making the boot armor and soon as I'm back from Thailand at the end of the month I'll cast up and paint a set and shoot them, Matt and I are super excited to see that come together. Can't say enough good things about the gothem100 boots, they may not have the tdk texture on them but they work on nearly every batsuit to date
matt loves this torso so much, it looks like we will pull a hard cast and bodyshop and resculpt all the errors out of it so that it can look as good as the bat and robin suits being built for the next suit..... but after he sees the build up of a nightwing using my redbird torso well I think he will forget allllllllllll about this torso
I'm thinking of using it with a resculpt to full wrap arms as well for a Beyond build based on the arkham city skins..... but we shall see
either way I'll be sculpting some cool new pieces to complete both suits, including full size automatic wings for the Beyond, a belt, a cowl that locks to the torso, and there has been talk about us taking on a commission to make a NEW 52 NIGHTWING..... but I'm very fond of the new design accept for the mask and the boots... the rest holds no love for me and we tend not to do to much that we don't love
I've spent the last hour with bondo, a sander and a crap load of reference pictures trying to make those legs accurate and symmetrical, but its an up hill battle because the leg stance makes it a !@#$ to work on the inner legs and to finish the cod leafs
molding my real deal batshop forever robin and redbord robin masks tomorrow on odonnels live cast
and I talk to a best buddy about going over to his studio to pull a few in foam latex so in the sequal Matt and Chris can have a ton more expression and movement in their masks, it seams minor till someone scowls and then the mask moves to show the scowl, then its 100% worth it, will run them in prosthetic grade foam so that ever movement shows thru this time
like I said, production on the sequel is going to much much sharper
Since Deathwish just passed 150k views the group is very encouraged to start on the next one
Come mid May we will have a bunch of crap finished and thanks to ton of effort by everyone at the studio so a flood of pics will hit our Deviantart, sent an HDD off to the Johannster so soon as I Have those back theres a few hours of processing to be done to close the door on this suit
Mexican, you can't cast and you can't paint.
Probably because you spend to much time :handy:

Wow bro... i am not an artist, but i AM a stickler for detail, and you really seem to have left no stone unturned with this. With all the comments i've seen you write, anyone can see you're very passionate about what you do, and this is a great example of that.
