Wow, so many good designs here that I'm beginning to feel that mine is a little plain and weak. I'm blown away by the talent of everyone here. Whoever wins will be a lucky guy!

EDIT: had 2 cowls in this post, removed the first one.
I meant to use more angled eyes on this next cowl... a more helmet styled approach. When i traced over the eyes from pencil to ink pen, my girls were bouncing around the couch and screwed up my lines, but you get the idea. hahaha. Figured a neoprene neck under the armor, or a stormtrooper like next under the armor would give the 'Dark Knight' style flexibility, but be its own unique design. Sorry for the crappy pic... can take another if need be. Thanks

It looks like good and exciting entries are happening, and thanks for including me as a judge.
Since we all can have biased leanings toward various looks and schemes, I'm going to try to improve my objectivity and fairness with a point system. Below is what I plan for ranking, and turning in results for at least a chosen top three. Points for each category are maximums, with full points in each category not necessarily awarded.
Overall looks and character integrity: 40
Originality: 20
Ease of slipping on and off and overall comfort: 20
Scariness: 10
Head turning: 10
I might also end up recommending combining certain features of high-scoring entries, if some designs have special things that merit including, even if those entries don't win overall.

so far I've gotta say that Punisher's latest design, the helmet one, is by far my favorite. That thing is badass. TDK functionality with comic styling = very sleek. But when you submit 1,000 entries, 1 of them is gonna be tops, lol, just playing man.
I really hope I can get around to submitting an entry before the end. I'm such a terrible artist...

HAHAHA, trust me, I'm done. Got a few more ideas, but I dont want to saturate the contest with simple 'ideas' just because you get better odds with more entires. Actually, I'm going to remove the one above the helmet, dont feel there's anything special to it...
Post something, loving the entries so far. I'd really like to see more.
EDIT: I did draw up a larger, slightly cleaner image of my above cowl design. Did a slightly better job on the eyes, etc.. hopefully this one details the cowl better than the grainy version above. It's the same cowl design.

I am glad to see you have a structured judging plan, I plan to go through all the entries and simply pick my 1, 2, and 3. I will see about creating a temporary private forum for the judges.
Time is ticking, get your entries in, you do not want to miss out on this opportunity.
