Re: Custom "The Cave" Cowl?
Why? every concept is valid. you do exactly what you want to.
also, on a side note, I spent the day with a good friend yesterday who was part of the team that made the suits for begins. he might be helping with the moulding so that kinda adds a bit of provenance to the project but guys, nothings going to happen if you dont start posting concepts!

Here's a request to be one of the judges. What I'd bring to the process would be decades of familiarity with comics, film renderings, custom suits, and originality.

Re: Custom "The Cave" Cowl?
Well, this is an excellent idea... drawing something up as we speak...something very non-traditional Batman, but I think would fit very, very well.

Re: Custom "The Cave" Cowl?
*Edit: Once I get home tonight, I'll post the pic of my drawings. Digital Cam here at work is out, so I'll get this posted later.*
Funny, looking back through the thread, this design could work for mrrpm01's design as well. I was thinking of a cowl that could be used for multiple suits. Such as a Batman Beyond, with the face removed, there could finally be a realistic way to pull off the Beyond look. Pull the cowl on, paint your face black... pretty doggone simple, dont you think? (Well, as long as you use decent make-up and not the grease paint found in cheap Halloween outlets) Or, you could even wear a spandex under cowl to completely hide your face.
And to use the cowl for a more comic styled Batman, an eye mask can still be sculpted and used, just make it so it has to be glued on your face. My drawing is very generic, and I am far from a great designer, but the overall idea is here, so let me know what you all think.
Kind of a cross between a Simon Bisley/Batman Beyond feel.
Thanks
