Custom "The Cave" Cowl?
Hi all.
I stumbled across this forum whilst seaching for something for tbotb.
Im really impressed with it.
I have been toying with the notion of sculpting another cowl and thought it would be cool to make it a exclusive to this forum.
I also thought it would be cool to run a bit of a contest.
what I propose is this:
lets have a competition where you submit your own cowl designs and concepts.
We then have a closing date for designs and a team of people judge the best one.
Once the "winner" has been decided. I will sculpt that persons cowl and they will get a copy of it as a prize.
these would then be available to members of the cave only at cost plus labour
first off, we will need a judging panel. Im no batman expert so any long standing members want to be a judge?
if this sounds like fun to you then please start posting, let see if we cant get this off the ground.

Daft, welcome bro. Not only is this a great idea, but an extremely generous one. This is the kind of gesture that makes all of us feel proud to be part of the Bat community.

Im happy to do it. I have had some really good dealing with people in the bat community so its nice to give something back.

Awesome idea, and I think it's very cool of you to do this.
Really looking forward to seeing the different idea submissions, and following along the build process.
I have a few cowl concepts that I've been planning for a while, but not sure when I'll ever get around to sculpting. Maybe I'll enter one with some drawings and diagrams of what I have in mind.

Youre on the FX Lab board too arent you? I recognize youre website. Where abouts are you based? Im in Wolverhampton and just got into sculpting this year.
This is a really nice idea btw.

Marvelous Idea!
Here's ONE of mine. I'll see what else I have.
The stitches are where I'd put the seams in for a fabric cowl. Ignore them. That is where definition would be on a rubber cowl
