Re: UD Begins suit
Looks like one slipped by the little sweat shop kid inspector before it got shipped out.

Re: UD Begins suit
Ok I seriously do wonder... what is with the shoulders on these? Every picture someone has shown the shoulders are "floating" for lack of a better word. The studio pics nor their teaser pics do they look like that. are they just not adjusted right or is that just the way they are?

Re: UD Begins suit
i was wondering the same, looks like you can adjust them. perhaps the posted pics from members were not adjusted properly and the ones from ud were tightened down.

Re: UD Begins suit
I think you have to remove some of the motorcycle armor from the jacket to get it to set down better. The shoulders are floating though so I don't think that would necessarily help all that much. David did say in some of the responses the jacket needs to break in a bit so maybe they sit much better after that. Maybe the nomex survival suit will turn out better. I wonder if he'll try and make some Panther gloves and boots for that one and call them prototype Begins gloves and boots.

Re: UD Begins suit
mismatched leather is only a tiny part, lack of
symmetry, lack of form, lack of fit and a complete lack of flow
there was a thread full of photos of a guy on his
bike wearing this and all it is, like everything they
have done so far is baggy baggy baggy
just another in the long line of projects that show they
have never and will never understand and apply the fundamentals of form
when they cannot make a set fit the model correctly for their marketing, what in the world makes anyone think that it stands a chance of looking good on them
all of these just look like they were sown up by someone who made their own patterns, had no sowing skills beyond the basics and no eye for detail and design
I may not like the film TDK bat suit but its compiled well, it looks like it goes together, even though its a mismash of different textures and materials..... so that said why would just changing things from urethane to leather cause it to loose every ounce of appeal
aaaaaaaaaah its not just the leather now is it. when it fits like a $9.99 halloween costume it doesn't matter what materials you used now does it~
LOL
its very hard not to when they just keep dealing out this stuff
to date, 95% of everyone that has told me they bought any of their suits, has immediately put them up on ebay and gone right back to the pursuit of the perfect rubber replica instead
--- And what’s ten years? Well, it’s roughly how long it takes to put in ten thousand hours of hard practice. Ten thousand hours is the magic number of greatness.
