Hey thats kind of funny, I designed a lot of the product packaging for the software for Solidworks back in the early 2000s. We even did their website back then to. But their packaging has changed since and isn't as good now.

I don't log in on over here much as there is never very much posted compared to the BOTB, but I've only been around a year and I can see a big difference in the amount of things being created compared to the archives. The V3 boxes look good Keith.

Yah, there isnt as much traffic here- but there also arent as many newbs asking questions that could be answered with just a little bit of effort. NOT that im against tht sort of thing, just saying that for every 10 threads posted on BOTB, i am interested in only 1. Here, its a bit better ratio.. (for me, anyway).. also, not as many (or any, really) haters here.
I still check it out, but dont post as much as i once did.

i just read this post and i feel that this hobby is not dead for me just yet.Only reason is because i have not found a silicone michael keaton head that i enjoy. So i am having lots of fun looking for that perfect 89 suit and the face to match.

And Im new, and already feeling burnt out. Ive been feeling burnt out on Star Wars costuming so I thought about trying something else...but I don't see how I can ever get a Begins suit. On BOTB I was a member for one day and someone offered me a Bob D suit, but I can't afford it. Not to mention at 6 foot 4 and a lot of lbs, I don't think I can even fit into anyone's molds. That leaves life casting and sculpting, and those are two things I don't have access to.
So I guess all I can do is hang around both boards and drool.

mhh not sure but you might fit into jeff's v3 begins armor as it was made for the big guys.. i am 6' 1" and own said armor and it is quite big on me...

the question wouldn't be the height quite as much as the "lot of lbs"

Lol think tom Hardy's torso. I'm barrel chested. 290-300 lbs is my range usually. Not clayfaced shape.
