its a gay way to see who is mature and who is not.
the people who sit around smiting people= are not.

The admin can turn it off if he wants. I left it turned on in my boards but that's only because no ones been smiting around anyone yet. lol... if it became an issue, id have shut it off immediately. It only makes a potentially positive forum become a negative one. Some people right away will assume they are being smitten by many when it could all just be 1 or 2 people from the entire bunch.
All in all, it's useless. Really, it is.

If the general consensus is that you guys don't want it, I'll try and figure out how to turn it off. It really wasn't significant enough to give any thought to.
