Bat-Mannequin! ** Update May 11/2011
Hey guys! I posted this at BotB so nothing new for anyone that goes to both :P
You may think me strange for posting this one, but.... haha
I was over at the bay (Hudson Bay company, I believe its a Canadian only thing?) and they were tossing out their old Mannequins! .. and I was all like I bet I could fit that into my car. So I grabbed one, I know how expensive they are so I figured I would never get another chance!
Anyways, If the wife doesn't kill me I can show my costume progress off with it! haha... sooooo for those of you who have been following my slow progress here are the two things stuck to the poor Mannequin!

Re: Bat-Mannequin!
nice symmetrical pose
only one possible problem. if i remember correctly you are looking to do an arkham suit? if so it would be a pity to hide those gaunts behind his back??? either way awesome score

Re: Bat-Mannequin!
Excellent memory, Sylar! Yes it will be a shame, but these things are unbelievabley expensive so the dumpster Mannequin is most likely the best I will ever see lol.
On a side note, it scared the hell out of my wife when she came home as well as the poor great Dane. This poor bugger has now been dissembed for the time being until I can butter the wife up again lol

Re: Bat-Mannequin!
hey 9panzer
i wish i had your mannequin... mine sucks balls because one leg is slimmer than the other.... but the advertisement had both legs look the same.. dont worry about hiding the arms behind your back.. just remove the mannequin arms and stuff your suit's arms with paper or foam inserts

Re: Bat-Mannequin! ** Update March 16/2011
Okay new update for the bat-Mannequin, recieved the RD clooney that I trade Inferno for a few weeks back (Thank you btw Inferno it's sooo much cleaner then the last one!) I took a few pictures on the Mannequin for everyone to see. Note: the grey shirt is just that... a grey shirt... haha.
Now the question. I'm 6'4 and this new mask firs me PERFECTLY across the brow (my last one if you look through the forums was just a mess and felt like it was crushing my head) but it suffers the same problem as the last one, the neck line sits too high. You can see it on Mannequin as it's my height as well. The question is, is this cowl a standard for the neck length?
Anyways... enjoy my photoshop glory!

Re: Bat-Mannequin! ** Update March 16/2011
your not taking into account that they originally sat a top foam armor, that takes up that gap that your refering to
soooooooooooooooooooooooo
simple solution is to take a upholstery foam and cut it into
the right shapes for the muscle groups in the shoulders, neck and pectorals
problemo solved o
lol
you need that no matter in order to get the arkham look your after anyways
--- And what’s ten years? Well, it’s roughly how long it takes to put in ten thousand hours of hard practice. Ten thousand hours is the magic number of greatness.

Re: Bat-Mannequin! ** Update March 16/2011
lol it's alright, I talked to Shawn Reezv and got him making an Arkham Cowl for me... honestly those Akham cowls the Inferno and Reezv make is the reason I started getting into his to begin with. I don't think the early trys at it will yield that perfect suit anyways. So we'll just call it Comic style :P
Thanks for the tip though, Thats what everyone keeps mentioning to me that the armor would bulk me up quiet a bit to fill it all in.
