I recently had a misshap with my foam cowl, i managed to get two surface tears while putting it on. see pics bellow. is there any way of repairing this with liquid latex or something?

sorry I didn't catch this thread. make sure I see stuff like this with a "batsignal for bob" or something.
simple , here is where foam is also nice.
get some barge shoe glue. most shoe repair stores carry it in small tubes. If you can't find it, you can use weldwood contact cement, NOT rubber contact cement.
get a fine tip art brush, a cheap one. but a fine tip. carefully put some on the brush, spread the tear open a bit, dab the glue in, an let if close on it's own. if there is some squeeze out. quickly take your finger and wipe if off. Make sure the tear edges are nicely lined up, leave it alone for a couple of hrs. If you let it close back up with the tear lined up, and you wipe away any squeeze out. should almost be undectable. But try not to put so much on that you have any squeeze out if possible. a little does the job.
