FINALLY MOUNTED MY INFRNO V3 TORSO (New pic 12/13) !!!!

Can't say enough about this armor....stunning looking. Photo's truly do not do it justice....and thanks to everyone who's been giving me advice on the mounting, it worked great!!

I used a duct tape torso, which was perfect for mounting, but when displayed on it, distorts the armor a bit in some spots due to the fact that it's barrel shaped rather than the shape of an actual torso.

Now for the pics!!!....

Oh....almost forgot, although I'm sure you all know where this stuff came from.

Cowl is Jeff's RD, armor also Jeff's reworked V3, gauntlets are Jeff's RD, and undersuit is KB's.

Thanks a bunch guys...I couldn't be happier !!!

Question about the cowl!

What did you use for the rings that attach to the cape clips and how did you attach them to the cowl?

Looks awesome BTW.

The rings are called "jump" rings. I attached them with a thin black strap glued to the inside of the cowl.

Here's a thread I posted on it a while back

Outstanding. Love how well the cowl and torso match up. Let's see it with a kb V3 belt!

this totally sucks!

theres no belt, no cape clips NO PANTS!!

I mean common!!!!

you know one of these days I will have to put together a full Begins suit for myself or some one else..... I've never made it past mounting a V1 torso so I'm jeleous

I'm also jealous that you took the time and effort to shoot this the way you did~

Re: FINALLY MOUNTED MY INFRNO V3 TORSO !!!!

Thanks Jay!!

Yeah, the photography is everything when showing this stuff off.

haven't mounted the legs yet, but that's the next step. As soon as I do that and get my clips from Kevin, i'll suit up for a full body shoot. may have to go into the studio for that though!! LOL

My only hesitation is mounting the clips to the torso....this thing is so beautiful as it is, I don't really want to muck it up by adding posts.

do it anyways

you've got legs so that requires you make a full suit

if you didn't have the legs or the lifecast you could get away with a closet display

but legs means your all in~

Yeah...

....I'm definitely all in....LOL. I guess if I was displaying the torso by itself, I could always put the clips on so it's not just a post sticking out

I could never bring myself to punch holes in my torso for clips.
