Dusting off the Panther for Halloween (pic heavy)
Just taking the panther out of storage this weekend and getting it ready for Halloween. Thought I'd post a pic to let everyone see how it's coming together. Need to finish a few details but it looks ok. Will post some more pics as it goes together.
BTW: If anyone has any ideas on how to fix the bent left ear, please let me know. Cowl is urethane.
Enjoy !

Re: Dusting off the Panther for Halloween
LMAO, yeah absolutley !
Figured there might be somehting missing...LOL.
Anyway, did some touch ups and final part of my gluing tonight, it's 1am in Ireland and I'm just finished, been at it since noon, totaly shattered tired now but I think it was worth the time. Ended up using more than just panther parts so now it's kind of a hybrid I guess, some panther, some clooney (in black).
Here is me suiting up:
Me with cowl on

Right side view

Just me, cowl off, man it's in there !

Sharp!
For the bent ear just find a way to hold it straight for like 24 hours or so. Like a splint. Or in the past all I've done is put the cowl on the floor and push the ear against a wall in the opposite direction of the way it's bending. Leave it like that for a day and it should hold after that. Hope that makes sense.

Re: Dusting off the Panther for Halloween (pic heavy)
Thanks guys, I'm happy with how it turned out. Would love to get my hands on a RD cast panther cowl someday....might be lookin in your direction Infrno
Inkmonkey, makes totaly sense. Have tried something similar with clamps and it has taken out most of the bend. What's left now is just the tip. Will keep working it, against the wall this time and hopefully it will come good. Will post a pic some pics of it as I go.
Cheers

You Panther looks great, you wear it well. Wish I had gone with a wetsuit under mine, how thick is the wetsuit on this?
