Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
you have every right to say I told you so eden!
I was captivated from the first scene of the blimps sailing over Gotham, and from there it only got better.
yes the joker voice took some getting used to because we are predisposed to think of Hamill's voice there. His dialog was amazing, perfectly time sarcasm. Even as he was beating Jason to death in the beginning he was in true form to what we think of the joker to be.
I love that Bats barely said a word, and they had Robin and Nightwing talking things up a bit to lighten the mood.
To bad they didn't do the full hush storyline so that we had Tim Drake, Cat Woman as well as Crock, Ivy and a few others. But that would be asking for to much.
All this did was remind me why the original animated series were so amazing and how I wished they would go back to doing a weekly show.
But I digress
We wait to see SUPERMAN/BATMAN Apocolypse next and hope its even better than this was.
Nar, very odd structure in the drawing, mainly because the torso is to long and muscles are in the wrong place
but the coloring and feel is there if you dont stare at it LOL

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
I watched it today and loved it from the beginning to the end. It was 100 times more thrilling to watch than the boring Nolan films.

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
to me this is in line with Nolan's ability to build and hold a story together utilizing story's from existing history
here's a glimps of the next one, which looks to carry over the pages well

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
I strongly encourage you guys to read Batman: Under the Hood graphic novel while rewatching this- I was SO excited to see how expertly they transferred the art of the book into this animated film. The art, dialogue, story, it was all spot on! Loved it!

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
This movie was great beginning to end. I wonder if any designers will be making a Red Hood helmet replica?? :offtopic: I can't help getting off topic. The helmet would be awesome.

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
ive read and watched the film, def a good movie. MY only disappointment with most of these films is wishing i could see live action, even as much as i love 2d animation.
Cool clip Jay. Bats scuba suit looks pretty cool, and i wouldnt mind seeing something like that for his real body suit.

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
You`re right ....it would be marvelous in live-action; but it never can be so close to the comic ....regrettabely, they like to be so creative during "filmation time".....
I love when Bruce clean the recorded sound...and hears his name from the enemy.....And this version of the Joker.....its more...rusty and ...cruel, I think.

Re: BATMAN UNDER THE RED HOOD
Excellent, not only as an animated film, but as a film in general. By far, my favorite of the DC animated films.
