UIFX Returns Suit in action!
I'm running on just 2 hours of sleep over the past two days, but these pics turned out so great, I just had to share. Will post more info later after I get some rest.
Was up until 8am this morning making tweaks and adjustments and strapping, and so on... to get everything read for the big movie car show today. The '66 Batmobile was the star, but there were many cool cars.
I know there's still quite a bit more to do with the suit to get everything aligned properly, and add some velcro or something to the cod to keep it tucked properly, but overall I'm extremely pleased with how it all worked out.
Thanks to Jeff for his incredible work on these pieces -- the new foam backed urethane skinned armor is brilliant -- and the new undersuit with the hidden mesh sections helps considerably in both flexibility and breathability. (Today was about 75 degrees, but full sun and it got HOT - but I lasted about 90 minutes before the sweat streamed down across the armor. Could last 3-4 hours indoors climate controlled for a con, etc...)
The buckle is a HW functional metal buckle, gloves from Nitestar JV (89s) and the base boots are the UDR TDK boots. Everything else is UIFX produced.
On to the pics!

It is pretty cool to see you put this stuff to good use bud, once you get the cod tacked down, it is pretty perfect. The cowl looks stellar on you.

Re: UIFX Returns Suit in action!
How tall are you? The legs look pretty big on you. Boots need some much needed work. You got the lower piece too far forward. Not bad tho.

Re: UIFX Returns Suit in action!
I'm almost 6' 2", so the legs are actually quite tight, I just have big legs.
Boot armor was simply strapped to the outside of the UDR TDK boots with a little extra elastic strapping I had. This was all put together in about 12 hours and was my "first outing" in it, so definitely have quite a bit of adjustments to make now that I've worn it once and have time to go back and correct fitting and placement.
It's hard to tell in the picture, but this event was on a oddly steep inclined lawn of a church, so in most pictures I'm standing looking up hill, which really makes the boots look odd due to the scrunch and angle.
Eventually the boot armor will be permanently mounted corret to an accurate set of boots. (As these will be used for my Begins and TDK suits.)
