MY Ludakris TDK upgrades armor...pic heavy

Well after 5 months of waiting and many emails back and forth with Kris...I finally got my package today and WOW!!! I could't be more pleased with my new TDK armor to upgrade my suit...I will finally now have an entire LUDA TDK complete armor.

What you see pictured is the entire upper armor, abs ribs, kness..what is not pictured is the neck armor.

I know we have seen this before from brad and others but I could't help myself but to snap these pics ASAP and post them!

The quality is nothing short of RD!!! the carbon fiber inserts are second to none...this is how it is done!!!!
I have not seen better carbon fiber inserts by anyone who is making this armor or recasting it...IMO not even UD replicas got the carbon inserts perfected.

These shots show as different lighting as I could get but when not in pictures the grey haze over the carbon is perfect almost to the point of not seeing the pattern all the way to the lit pics showing all their detail.

The difference in the blacks and dark greys of the armor is really nice some parts are semi gloss and other parts are flat black.

Kris' way of using his methed of internals for the shoulders and the arms is really cool allowing for alot of movement and about perfect placement of the shoulder bells.

Also his glueing is top notch..very sturdy in place whatever glue he uses...is really good and strong!

All the carbon fiber patterns mirror each other perfect as I asked him of this..many make the patterns go in all different directions...i asked Kris to correct this so it was as close to RD as possible.

The other great part of this armor upgrade is the addition of the carbon fiber in the arms...not sure how many have this yet...I was pretty sure Brad and myself are the only ones at this point...I maybe wrong but glad to have these upgrades...thanx to Brad for making the molds to allow for this!

Well here are the pics...in the comming days I will glue up the abs, ribs, kness and neck(I got a hood from Brad)...I will post upgraded full suit manny display pics when I am done!!!!!

Best Regards....Len

That looks pretty rad in blue man, it is a really nice shade, like an ice blue or something, are you getting a blue cowl too?

Very nice suit indeed bro.

Having been there while he's made pieces in the past, I know the efforts Kris has gone to to achieve the right look. He takes great care in the completed parts and your pictures clearly demonstrate that.

You must be really thrilled to have such an amazing suit. Look forward to seeing it completed and more pics of you suited up.

I'll be one of the last on Kris' list and eagerly await my suit. I told him to get the others out first mainly because I'm aware so many wanted theirs for conventions etc. but the upside is that the more suits he makes, the better he seems to get at them.

The reason Kris' is the best is because it's the first generation to all the other "RD" versions out there. And because he took great care to get it right and not to rush it out the door.

I know people don't like waiting for things very often, but I don't mind when you end up with this kind of quality arriving at your door.

It's been a good time for batsuits of late, with a few people popping up who take the time to get these suits to the best possible quality they can. It's been nice seeing the TDK motorcycle suit and how that has changed the way some costume, but for myself, there is nothing that compares to exact replicas like this suit. I think the pics speak for themselves.

Ok Brad, I'll absolutely give you that one. Without you, the suit would not be the same at all.

How is belt gap piece for the back going? Looking forward to seeing what you come up with. I might need one, but I think mine will need to be quite a bit wider lol.
