The Dark Knight Cowl Sculpt (Critiques wanted):

Hey guys, just wanted some advice on where my sculpt is going. Any input is appreciated. I've still got a lot of work to do for this, but it's getting there. Feel free to comment and leave any advice. Thanks!

Sorry for the blurry pics at the end. Just wanted to see the sculpt with no flash.

From what I can see, I still need to refine the cheek bones, work the nose more making it more flush with the cowl, maybe even make the eye holes a bit smaller. The ears might need to be a bit longer as well.

As far as I can tell, the ears look good. I wouldn't touch them. even with the things you mentioned, it looks great-

I also agree the ears look good. I also agree with the cheeks. Maybe revisit the brow line, I know when I was trying to sculpt a cowl I would not get the damn brow right to save myself. Also, there is a mild crease in to top of the head on a lot of other TDK cowls I have seen. May want to look into that as well. Other than that, the base looks solid. I think it will turn out excellent.

Where did you get the armature you are using? I am looking for a new one and I like yours.

Sculpted right over top of them. The clay is pretty thin around them though. I didn't want the cowl to be too wide.

Thanks guys! Really appreciate all the comments and advice. Persistence really is key with something like this as I'm coming to find out. It's a really big challenge for me but it's also been really fun.
